DIPTQUE - ORPHÉON (event)

For this event, the client, Diptyque, sought a visual approach that would capture the elegance and ambiance of their jazz-themed launch event for their latest fragrance, Orphéon. Inspired by the spirit of late-night Parisian bars and artistic salons, the event was a celebration of nostalgia, sophistication, and the timeless allure of jazz.

To reflect this atmosphere, we employed a flash-style photography approach, enhancing the energy and vibrancy of the night while paying homage to classic editorial and nightlife photography. The images captured guests immersed in the event—clinking glasses, swaying to live jazz performances, and engaging in intimate conversations—all bathed in moody lighting that evoked the essence of Orphéon’s inspiration.

The high-contrast, dynamic imagery highlighted the interplay of shadows, reflections, and movement, echoing the perfume’s rich, layered composition of cedarwood, tonka bean, and jasmine. By blending spontaneity with a refined artistic edge, the coverage not only documented the event but also translated the spirit of Orphéon into a compelling visual narrative, reinforcing Diptyque’s legacy of artistry and olfactory storytelling.
